52 Healthy Weeks | 3/52

It’s time to link up with 52 Healthy Weeks! Tell me what you’ve been up to? Did you achieve everything you wanted or was it more difficult than you expected?

I’ve managed to get out running a few times and it’s now 6 weeks and counting until my half marathon eeeek! Being able to run that far does seem a bit impossible still but I’m amazed every time I go running I’m able to push myself a little bit further without keeling over and falling into the nearest bush, so that’s good news!

As well as running, this week I’ve been working out with Mr T. My lovely hubby is a big strapping chap and has been pumping iron since he was Lewis’s age! (15) he has an amazing set-up in our garage which is like walking into a proper gym, with all the equipment and punching bags and lots of free weights. Mr T loves to box and goes to a martial arts class a couple of times a week so he’s been helping me out with my training and showing me a few moves. I have absolutely loved it. I’ve been doing some proper boxing, with gloves and everything! While Mr T holds the pads and encourages me to punch harder as it will sort out my bingo wings (nothing like some gentle encouragement) it’s been absolutely brilliant fun and one heck of a work out.
