Beautiful party dresses from No Ordinary Label

Beautiful dress by Jam on Toast from No Ordinary Label

One of the things I love most about Christmas are the parties. In between now and the big day we have a work party with a disco and Rose has her nursery party, plus a couple of formal occasions where we go for meals with family and then Christmas day itself is just one big party, isn’t it?

We were recently sent some clothes* from No Ordinary Label I couldn’t wait to open up the bag and take a peek at the dresses inside, they are so gorgeous, Rose is one lucky little girl. As soon as I picked her up from nursery I showed her the new dresses and we then had a trying on session where she stands in front of the mirror and admires herself, she’s such a girly-girl and loves getting new clothes, her little face lit up bless her!

Eager to wear one of the dresses straight away we headed out to the woods behind our house just as it was turning dusk. Rose pretended to be a fairy, the light, and the atmosphere was really quite magical. The blue striped bumble bee dress by designer Jam on Toast has a striped top with a pastel blue gathered tulle skirt, perfect for dancing and swishing.

Blue dress with tulle skirt and striped top with bee motif wearing a flower crown. Dress from No Ordinary Label.

The top part of the dress has the cutest little bee motif and detailed scalloped edging which is a lovely touch. It is such a pretty dress and needn’t be kept just for party season. Rose wore hers with pale pink thick wool tights and green sparkly trainers, because well, why not? She also had a pink wooly hat which looked really cute, but we swapped it for a flower crown once we got to the woods and were in full fairy mode. Just for fun, I’ve added a pic of her surrounded with butterflies, she couldn’t believe it when I showed her as I had explained to her that there is magic in the woods behind our house, it’s amazing how a dress and some make-believe can encourage such a beautiful imagination!

The blue petal party dress also by Jam on Toast, is hands down the prettiest dress I have ever had for Rose and she’s had a lot of dresses. I am so in love with it and she is too. It fits her perfectly and I think she looks like the sweetest little Thumbelina I’ve ever seen! I know I am biased, but she just looks so darling in it. I can’t wait for the nursery party so she can wear it and she’ll be wearing it at our work party and on Christmas day too.

Beautiful satin dress by Jam on Toast from No Ordinary Label

The dress is made from navy blue satin material and has an embroidered waistband, the full skirt is made up of petals which is just the most adorable design. I really am delighted with it. I’ve had a look at the website (I want everything, it’s heaven!) and this satin dress also comes in green and is available in ages 2-3 all the way up to 7-8 as are the other dresses.

These are so gorgeous – I definitely have to check out that website. I always like to get my daughter something for Christmas day, and now we’re beyond dressing her up as a reindeer (I suspect), I’ve been after something pretty but vaguely practical and the outfit I thought I’d spotted has ended up being out of stock which is SO annoying.

Wow Amy that dress is beyond words I love the ruched structuring of the last one and the midnight blue colour really does make her look like a mystical being. What are the prices like?

Thanks so much Ellen and I think Aidan may kill you when he’s older. Don’t tell anyone but as Lewis is a year older than Holly I used to try things on him when I’d bought them in the sale to make sure they’d fit her a year later tehehe x

Gorgeous. For some reason I am not too keen on dresses on my little girl yet. he’s only 10 months. Maybe when she’s older.
