Cheatwell Games review with video and a competition!

kids scavenger hunt

We love games, even the older kids are still into card and board games so we were delighted to receive a box full of goodies from Cheatwell Games which coincided very nicely with the long bank holiday weekend and enabled us to play outside in the glorious sunshine.

cheatwell card games

The card games went down really well with the boys, especially plop trumps which they found hilarious, obviously! The other card games were an excellent way to entertain our dinner guests on Sunday, we all had loads of fun playing ‘Who Am I?’ and ‘Utter Hogwash’ I’ll be saving these for whenever we have guests over and will also be taking them to play in the car when we go on long car journeys.

Scavenger hunt is a fantastic game for children (and adults!) players take it in turns to spin the wheel which decides how many objects you have to find. There is a deck of cards for indoor and outdoor play so this game can be enjoyed on a rainy day or a sunny one. We had brilliant fun playing this in the garden and hunting around for the objects on the cards. It was great for Rose to practice her recognition skills and with help she managed to join in with the rest of the family which was lovely.

pig popper game

Our favourite game is Pig Popper, who could think that a toy pig that pops out ping pong balls could keep us all entertained for so long. It’s a really fantastic interactive toy. We are practising Rose’s counting at the moment so this was a fab way to encourage counting down and then popping the balls up into the air (or at each other) which gave us all lots of giggles as you can see from our video!

Aw this looks lovely. I keep meaning to buy some games for Libby, I think she’s old enough for something basic like snakes and ladders now. I’ll have to get onto it :)
