Imagine the possibilities with Barbie

Did you play with Barbie dolls as a child? I used to adore the Barbie and horse set, I would spend hours grooming the horse, with an imaginary yard and arena where I would lead the Barbie around on the horse brushing up on her dressage moves. It wasn’t until a few years later that I realised my dream and got a horse of my own.

I love to watch my children using their imagination, just this week alone we have made poorly dolls better, been pretend tigers in the wild and held a tea party for a whole host of tiny guests. The thing about imagination is that the possibilities are truly endless.

I was recently shown this video and it really made me smile. Through the power of imagination, Barbie allows the girls to explore their own limitless potential. It’s the sweetest thing, and good gracious the budding little actors in the film are so super confident.

Have a watch and let me know what you think…

Amy, my daughter loves dolls! She has a barbie car and two pony’s….and now with our huge dolls house which we just built she is hoping to get even more dolls to fill it up! I enjoyed this video and watched it with my 7 year old daughter just now. She said it was funny but it proves a good point…..which is imaginative play is good for children’s development.

I use to love playing with my barbie dolls when I was younger. I use to come up with so many different ideas when playing.
