The Style Edit with House of Fraser and #stylemydress

Vera Moda dress from House of Fraser-one dress two styles!

You can’t go far wrong with an LBD in my opinion so when House of Fraser asked me if I’d like to join in with their #stylemydress project I dutifully agreed-it’s a hard job but someone’s got to do it! <winks>

As soon as the dress arrived I could see straight away that it had the potential to be useful in the current weather conditions (thanks hurricane Katie) and also in the summer (hurry up, please) it can also be easily dressed up or down with heels or flats.

The dress itself is a soft t-shirt material in a wearable boxy shape. It’s the perfect length for me (5’6”) I don’t like to show off too much leg these days and it’s nice to have my arms covered too. I opted for the large which is stated as a dress size 12-14 however, it is a little bit big so if you are around my size (large 12) then I would say go for the medium. House of Fraser is one of my favourite places to shop for dresses as there are so many to choose from, there are literally thousands on the site to suit every budget so well worth a look if you haven’t shopped with them before.

I wanted to show off the versatility of my new outfit by styling it in two ways. I’ve become a lot more confident wearing dresses lately and they are all I wore on our weekend away for Easter. Thick tights are a God send at the moment both thanks to the chilly weather and the fact that my legs could do with a bit of colour.

Great looks. Like you say you can’t go wrong with a LBD as you can dress it up for an evening out or work and make it more casual for a day with the kids. Love your choice of accessories too. Especially the shoes and scarf, gives the outfit a lovely pop of colour.

Now I am going to have to peruse House of Fraser website for more clothes. As if I need an excuse! ;-)

Wow, that dress is gorgeous, so versatile. But seriously, since when has a 12 to 14 been large?? I love your bright orange shoes too.
