The Style Edit: Step into spring with Daniel Footwear

Done a sundance lately? I did, and it worked, because for two days last week we had glorious sunshine! I’m not talking about you might need your sunnies in the car type of sunshine, I’m talking about full-on you don’t need to wear a coat and might even take your cardi off sunshine.

Oh, it was so wonderful. It also got me thinking about my spring/summer wardrobe and with a new dressing room almost on the horizon I have been thinking about all the beautiful shoes I’m going to have on display and how I’m going to go about injecting a bit of colour into my wardrobe after what seems a never-ending cycle of drab grey days.

Luckily for me, Daniel Footwear sent me the most gorgeous pair of orange shoes I have ever seen. When I peeped inside the box and set eyes on them it was love at first site. I adore shoes, what can I say? These beauties are the Southaven orange suede block heel cross strap sandal, aren’t they the most divine colour?

It hasn’t been quite warm enough to go for a full on sandalled open toed look but I did manage to play a bit of dressing up and prance about the house and the garden for a bit in my stunning new shoes.

Daniel footwear has so many designer sandals to choose from, as well as loads of different styles of shoes, whether you fancy going for flats or heels you will be spoilt for choice! My lovely pair are crafted from premium suede and feature luxurious leather lining, they are beautifully made as you would expect from Daniel Footwear and very comfortable. They’re also true to size and don’t leave that awful gap between toes and the end of the shoe.

I love the crossover design and the block heel makes them a sensible option for me as I can’t be doing with teetering about on a stiletto for too long. I always feel that with a chunkier heel you can get away with wearing them during the day without looking too dressy but still injecting some all important colour into your look.

This particular design does come in navy or black but I would say be daring and try a bright colour, they go with much more than you would think and I can see them looking amazing with printed trousers too. I know I’ll be getting lots of wear from them.

Now get praying to those weather Gods as I have new shoes to show off (just as soon as I’ve slapped a bit of fake tan on my legs…)

*I was gifted the shoes from Daniel Footwear as consideration for a feature here on the blog

I absolutely love those shoes. I’m pretty sure I commented on a previous post of yours saying the same thing, they’re just mesmerising, I love that colour!

I very much enjoyed the sun too, though I was visiting my grandmother who demanded I come into the house after six minutes as she panics I will get Wales..I love your outfit with the shirtdresses as I am often a bit scared to go bright on the colourfront..I am a little bit beige…but teaming those shoes up with grey and black give you a perfect balance. I might brave it. I like that you have been practical and highlighted the fit and the type of heel as us mummies need some sort of practicality when charging around the house. Lovely post #Thelist

Thank you Jade, we do have to be careful in the sun lol! I have a granny like yours too ;-) I know what you mean about colour but I’ve gone a bit mad for it lately and it’s really nice to have something a bit more fun to wear. Thanks for reading and commenting x
