Style edit|what mama wore

Black tiptop high neck dress, Jules striped floppy hat, red Saltwater sandals

Oh I do love it when the sun puts his hat on, it makes me want to put my hat on too! My lovely new hat from Joules to be precise. I spotted this beauty at the Joules stand when I was at BritMums Live and I knew I had to have it.

This hat says glamour to me; I adore the nautical vibe and that Joules weren’t afraid to go big on the design. I’ve got lots of hats but this one is my new fav and it really works well with my Summer wardrobe adding an extra bit of chic, even if I am just gardening!

I picked up a couple of bits in Topshop last week. This dress is really easy to throw on with a pair of sandals and a denim jacket. The high neck design is a new style for me and I quite like it. I think you have to be careful with an ample bosom and a high neckline, however because it is cut lower on the arms and is sleeveless it feels easier to wear. It would also work with leggings or skinny jeans.

My gorgeous new Salt-water sandals in red finish the outfit off with a splash vibrant colour. I am so in love with these sandals, I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when they arrived. I did agonise over which colour to get and would usually go for white or tan but I do love red with a simple black dress or with jeans and a vest.

These sandals are seriously comfortable and amazing quality-Rose has a tan pair and she wears them most days, they are showing no sign of wear and they go with absolutely everything.

You’ve got to love a bit of mama and daughter matchy matchy footwear. I think we should get the same colour too, now that would be cute…

You look absolutely incredible! You are stunning and the sooner you are the face of a fashion/beauty brand the better.

Also your garden looks amazing! Beautiful xxx

Oooooo la la! You look BEAUTIFUL! (as always, I should add.)

I have serious hat envy (not sure this has ever happened before!), but oh goodness, how gorgeous is that hat and you in it. Darling, you are a natural at this style stuff, and I second Aby. Sooner a brand snaps you and your beauty up, the better.

Really lovely post this. I look forward to many more. X

(And i’m now off to check out the sandals!)

Possibly the most glamorous gardening outfit I’ve ever seen! Loving the idea of matchy mummy daughter shoes, too. Cute!

    A lovely Audrey Hepburn-esque look :)

This outfit is lovely – I love a good wide brim hat but can never seem to find one wide enough! Lol
