We are midway through the year, can you even believe it? As the longest day beckons, we draw closer to Father’s Day which falls on Sunday the 18th June. It’s also Justin’s birthday a couple of days after so something tells me he’s going to be thoroughly spoilt again this year!
Justin is notoriously difficult to buy for; when asked what he would like he frequently replies with “nothing” Hmm, helpful! Well I’m sure he won’t mind me saying this, but the older he gets the more distinguished he becomes and this year, I have a little trick up my gifting sleeve in the form of Amara a brilliant online space where you really can shop to your heart’s desire. They have so many gifts available for the man in your life that suit every budget.
I adore Amara, I’ve worked with them a couple of times and it really is a testament to their impeccable quality and customer service that I chose Amara when purchasing things myself for the home or for a gift.
There are lots of suggestions for Father’s Day gifts on the Amara site with a handy price filter that allows you to select a gift depending on your budget. There’s lots available for under £25.00 right up to £1000.00 (if you’re feeling generous!) This year I’ve chosen two things for Justin that I know he would never buy for himself, because that’s the best part of gift-giving isn’t it?
First up is the Corrine Cocktail Shaker with Strainer from William Yeoward Crystal. Once our house is finished we have grand plans of hosting dinner parties and what evening with friends is complete without a cocktail or three? The Corrine Cocktail Shaker is beautifully handcrafted, the crystal glass heavy and decadent and the glass throws off a really stunning optical effect when it hits the light. In Justin’s words: “it’s a bit posh!” Indeed it is, I do think he will be the envy of our friends when he stands behind our outside bar giving it a bit of Tom Cruise Cocktail action!
My second gift to Justin this year (or should I say the children’s second gift!) is something I know he will get masses of wear from, in fact, they will keep his tootsies warm all year round and judging by the quality will last him for plenty of years to come.
For the purpose of this post I’ve let Justin have his gifts early and I must say I had a serious case of the green eyed monster when he opened up his new Ugg® Scuff Slippers. I think these are so amazing, I urge you to buy a pair so you can see for yourself just how luxurious and sumptuous they are. Made from water-resistant, breathable and stain-resistant UGG®’s Silkee suede leather with a luxuriously soft sheepskin lining, they really make the most perfect gift.
Seriously, I think they might be the best and most comfiest slippers in the land and Justin agrees! He was absolutely chuffed to bits with them, so if you’re struggling and fancy treating your fella for being the world’s greatest dad you would not go wrong with a pair of Ugg® slippers. I promise you, your chap will be delighted with them.
Do pop on over and take a look around the Amara site I am sure you’ll find something suitable for a Father’s Day gift. The whole experience is great and delivery is super fast too.
