I was recently asked if I would like to try some products from the relaunched Scott Cornwall line. I usually have my long hair coloured at the salon so I picked ‘Shine On’ a hair glazing treatment. Basically I like any products that give that bit of extra glitz and glamour, and have thought about trying this product before.
I have included before and after pictures of this and I hope that you can see the difference. Not only am I impressed that my hair is noticeably shinier (even more apparent in sunlight-it’s mirror like) It is also softer, and looks in much better condition after using the product.
As a rule I hate dying my hair at home and as the process of Shine On is kind of like when you apply hair dye I put it off for a while! I can honestly say it’s not a pain at all-perhaps because I wasn’t worried about getting hair dye all over my face or flicking it around the bathroom! The process itself was really simple.
You start by cleansing your hair with a pre treatment which you basically wash your hair in. This gets out all shampoo or product build-up. Massive difference after I’d done this, my hair was literally squeaky clean. You then combine the two other products into one bottle and shake-much as you would a hair dye. This solution then gets applied to damp hair and left on for 20 minutes.
I must apologise that my face looks a complete mess, It was the end of the day and so make up already smeared all over my face and after an argument with the shower head and holding myself over the side of the bath, well, let’s just say the shower head won!
On to the pics..can you see a difference? I haven’t edited them at all. My hair looks darker in the after pics-not because it changed colour but just because the light was slightly different as about an hour had passed.
I’m super impressed with it and would definitely use it again and again so a definite thumbs up from me.
