A super simple green smoothie bowl using superfood green spirulina, sweetened with maple syrup and fresh fruit. This smoothie bowl is a beautiful vivid green colour, fit for a mermaid!

Ingredients
 

  • 4 frozenĀ bananas
  • 460 mls coconut milk
  • 340 g rolled porridge oats
  • 1.5 teaspoons spirulina powder
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 large avocado

Toppings

  • handful of fresh raspberries
  • 1 kiwi fruit sliced
  • handful of blackberries
  • handful of blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut
  • sprinkling of mixed seeds
  • Edible flowers optional - the ones I usedĀ are violas from my garden
  • 1.5 tsp Spirulina powder

Instructions
 

  • Put the frozen bananas, coconut milk, rolled oats, avocado, maple syrup and spirulina into the Magimix blender jug
  • Blend on smoothie setting for 30 seconds
  • Spoon into a bowl and add desired toppings
  • Feel like a mermaid. Repeat every morning :-)

Notes

  • Use whatever toppings you have to hand
  • Sweeten as desired with maple syrup
