My name is Amy and I’m a bagaholic. There I said it, but let’s face it I could be addicted to worse things...
When I was pregnant with Rose, other than the imminent arrival of our brand new bundle I was most excited about buying a beautiful changing bag. I knew I would have to retire my beloved (and seriously heavy) Mulberry Bayswater for something more practical but wanted a sophisticated and stylish changing bag.
Then I discovered Storksak* and let’s just say it was love at first sight, but how could I possibly chose which style? In the end I went for ‘Elizabeth’ in the colour chalk. I think I read somewhere that Cate Blanchett has that bag and well, if it’s good enough for Cate it’s good enough for me! In fact, I felt so chic wearing that bag on my arm, brand new baby in tow and I am so pleased I decided to buy a from Storksak.
Fast forward a couple of years and I get a lovely email from Storksak asking me if I’d like to review a bag from their new Autumn/Winter collection. Well you can guess my response! It is so fantastic and indeed such a privilege to be asked to collaborate with a brand that I admire and a total honour to feature Storksak here on my blog.
Choosing which bag to review was the hard bit, in the end I plumped for the beautiful ‘Catherine’ mainly because I don’t actually have a black bag. I know, shocker right? Pink, tan, chalk, floral but nothing in black. I am so glad I chose ‘Catherine’ because it is quite simply stunning and oh so sophisticated. This bag has the perfect drape that all good leather bags will display, buttery soft leather that smells gorgeous and is completely functional, whilst remaining the epitome of modern mother style. As it’s black it goes with everything and can easily take you from day to night.
Rose is a toddler now but I find I still need to carry around just as much as I did when she was a baby and as my changing bag doubles as my handbag I need to make sure that there is a place for everything, and everything in it’s place. I’m organised like that you see *winks*
The bag is large enough to carry around all those essentials; drinks, snacks, nappies, wipes, spare clothes and so on with plenty of space and compartments for mummy’s things too.
Features:
- Two zipped, concealed front pockets
- Detachable pouch inside
- In-built thermo-insulated bottle holder keeps fluids warm/cool for up to four hours
- Additional long strap with built in stroller straps
- Padded luxury changing mat
- Padded leather shoulder strap
- wipe clean linings throughout
This bag is so incredibly chic that it doesn’t fall into the typical ‘baby change bag’ category and that is what is so great about all of the Storksak bags. Storksak recognise that mothers still want to show off a nice piece of arm candy, and why not!
As you can see in the gallery below, ‘Catherine’ and I have been on many outings thus far. Just click on the individual pictures to be taken to the full size version.
Check back here next week for a special vlog: ‘What’s in my Storksak changing bag- the toddler edition’ and do let me know in the comments your thoughts on this gorgeous bag.
*Thank you so much to Storksak for gifting me with this bag.

I love Storksak! I've got a bag they don't make anymore, I think it was Emily in leather, and it is just gorgeous. I would love Sofia or Caroline next, they are my favs. Elizabeth is gorgeous too! Looking great with your new bag :)

I love it, the Storksak bags are all so beautiful. I wanted one when I was pregnant with my 1st but my husband wasn't having any of it. Perhaps I can convince him now the next one's on the way! x

I'm so glad to see that you've been happy with a storksak bag as I'm currently waiting on 'Ashley' being delivered!
I've been using a big tote bag with changing mat with compartments shoved in but thought my husband looked a bit ridiculous carrying it around! Hoping the Ashley will look more 'man bag' on him but on trend on me!

Oh lovely, that's really beautiful. I've done the same as you and upgraded to a "handbag" that is actually large enough to fit everything I need in it - i.e. nappies etc. now that we don't need a full on changing bag. Actually if I'm brutally honest I can fit the baby in mine too, but that's another story.x

haha yes I have a couple of those. Big bags that is, not babies in handbags ;-) x
