1. Cream butter and sugar add lemon zest and eggs and beat.  2. Fold in the flour and salt. 3. Add milk and mix. 4. Spoon into loaf tin and bake for 45 minutes.

1. Make a syrup by putting lemon juice and icing sugar into a pan. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. 2. When the cake is ready, pour over the syrup.
